Bruce Davidson and his camera have, over the course of the last 60 years, created imagery which is burned into the American consciousness. From “Brooklyn Gang”, to the civil rights era (“Time of Change”); from Jimmy the clown to the fight for better housing on East 100th Street, Davidson created images that last and came to define not just a style of photography, but a moment in history. Now in his 80s, Davidson still works to capture the world around him with the tool that’s sustained him since he was a child.
