A few of Jerry's neighbors have expressed that they feel safer because of the killings, including Jerry's. Duterte has been widely criticized by international human rights organizations for his 'War on Drugs' which has taken thousands of lives since he took office, but his approval rating remains positive among the majority of Filipinos, especially the poor and the working class.
